About us
Pentact is an independent specialist company, established in 1982 which provides actuarial services to pension funds. We are the longest-established actuarial practice in Zimbabwe.
From 1982 to 1995, the company was a subsidiary of an international insurance broking group then known as Willis Corroon. In 1995, the company was sold to its management and staff and is now a locally-owned company.
The company has its own actuary (Mark Hyde) who has been resident in Zimbabwe since 1983. He qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in 1988 and is also an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (USA).
The company is affiliated to and supported by African Actuarial Associates (AAA), which is a grouping of consulting actuarial companies in Africa.
